In response to numerous requests from community residents, the Greeneville/Greene County Humane Society has begun a volunteer program.
We are currently running two programs for Adoption Center volunteers. The first program is the in the mornings - assisting with cleaning. This program requires an "early bird" to arrive at the Adoption Center before we are open for adoptions and assist in cleaning cages.
The second program is an afternoon program for socializing the animals.
Everyone is encouraged to volunteer, however if you are under 18 years of age you must be accompanied by an parent or guardian at all times.
Just stop by the Humane Society and fill out the necessary volunteer forms.
