The Greeneville/Greene County Humane Society has a wonderful volunteer program.
We love our volunteers and invite you to come help with socializing the animals. This is our primary volunteer program. Walking the dogs or just petting and playing with the cats in the cat room is great for our adoptable animals and time well spent to get them ready for their "furever" homes! Plus you get to have fun with our animals! You set your own schedule when you volunteer with us and we always have a pet that would love your attention! We welcome our volunteers to come to the adoption center during our hours of operation which are Monday through Friday from 11 to 5 and Saturday from 11 to 4.
We also have a volunteer program where you would come in to help comfort the animals as they come out of surgery in our spay / neuter surgery clinic. Please call us to find out more about this volunteer program. This program does require set time schedules and dependability to be available during the surgery scheduling.
Everyone is encouraged to volunteer, however if you are under 18 years of age you must be accompanied by an parent or guardian at all times.
Just stop by the Humane Society and fill out the necessary volunteer forms and we will be happy to get you started!
